Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to
building an exceptional workplace culture. This role is critical in supporting our rapid
growth while ensuring we maintain our values and commitment to employee excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment process including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company values
- Handle employee relations matters and provide guidance on conflict resolution
- Coordinate performance management processes including reviews, goal setting, and development plans
- Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitive market positioning
- Maintain HRIS systems and ensure data accuracy and compliance
- Support organizational development initiatives and change management efforts
- Ensure compliance with German labor laws and employment regulations
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and culture-building activities
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience in a technology or software company
- Expertise: Strong knowledge of German employment law and HR best practices
- Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities
- Technical: Proficiency with HRIS systems and HR analytics tools
- Language: Fluent in German and English (written and verbal)
- Location: Must be based in Germany with reliable internet connection
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or MBA
- HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent)
- Experience in a fast-growing startup or scale-up environment
- Background in software/technology industry
- Experience with remote team management and distributed workforce
- Knowledge of recruitment marketing and employer branding
